Trollstigen, Troll’s Ladder, is a steep, winding road nestled high in the Norway’s Reinheimen mountains.  Norwegian architecture firm, Reiulf Ramstad Architects has designed this gorgeous series of viewing platforms and accompanying gallery/restaurant.

The journey begins at the restaurant which sits on the banks of the Rauma river.  From there, visitors follow a series of stairs to the platforms which overlook the Slettafossen waterfalls.  “The architectural intervention is respectfully delicate, and was conceived as a thin thread that guides visitors from one stunning overlook to another.”
